1. According to the Grant Thornton’s International Business Report (IBR), India has slipped in business optimism index to the 7th position, from the 2nd slot in the July- September quarter. This list is topped by Indonesia.

2. Tulsi Gabbard, the first Hindu lawmaker in the US Congress, has been named as the chairperson of the World Hindu Congress to be held in Chicago next year.
अमेरिकी कांग्रेस में पहली हिंदू सांसद तुलसी गबार्ड को अगले वर्ष शिकागो में होने वाली विश्व हिंदू कांग्रेस (डब्ल्यूएचसी) की अध्यक्ष नामित किया गया।
3. Union Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Minister, Radha Mohan Singh inaugurated the three-day Organic World Congress – 2017 to be held from 9 to 11 November in Greater Noida. It will see the participation of 1,400 representatives from 110 countries, and 2000 delegates from India. The Organic World Congress (OWC) is organized once every three years in a different country. The last edition of the Organic World Congress took place in Istanbul, Turkey, in 2014.
केन्द्रीय कृषि एवं किसान कल्याण मंत्री, राधा मोहन सिंह ग्रेटर नोएडा में 9 से 11 नवंबर तक चलने वाले जैविक कृषि विश्व कुंभ 2017 का उद्घाटन किया। इस आयोजन में विश्व के 110 देशों के 1400 प्रतिनिधि और 2000 भारतीय प्रतिनिधि शामिल होंगे। कृषि विश्व कुंभ का आयोजन तीन साल में एक बार दुनिया के किसी देश में होता है। पिछला कुंभ 2014 में इस्तांबुल में हुआ था।
4. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Bangladesh's Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina flagged the 'Bandhan Express' through video conferencing. Bandhan Express will run every Thursday from West Bengal's Kolkata and Bangladesh's southwestern industrial city Khulna.
