1. RBI included HDFC Bank in the list of D-SIB or domestic systemically important banks. India's largest lender SBI and private sector major ICICI Bank were classified as D-SIBs in 2015. With the inclusion of HDFC Bank in the list, there will now be three too big to fail financial entities in the country.
भारतीय रिजर्व बैंक ने एचडीएफसी बैंक को भी घरेलू स्तर पर महत्वपूर्ण बैंकों की सूची डी-एसआईबी में शामिल कर लिया है। केंद्रीय बैंक ने देश के सबसे बड़े बैंक एसबीआई व निजी क्षेत्र के प्रमुख आईसीआईसीआई बैंक को 2015 में डी-एसआईबी के रूप में वर्गीकृत किया था। इस तरह से वित्तीय संस्थानों की इस विशिष्ट सूची में अब तीन बैंक हो गए हैं।
