India overtakes US as Facebook’s No. 1 user.
India has overtaken the US to become Facebook’s largest country audience with a total 241 million active users, compared to 240 million in the US.
The change at the top of the platform’s country rankings comes just a few days after Facebook announced it has more than two billion monthly users around the world.
The figures indicate that active users in India were growing more than twice as fast as in the US.

भारत कुल 241 मिलियन सक्रिय उपयोगकर्ताओं के साथ अमेरिका को पछाड़ते हुए फेसबुक उपयोग करने वालों का सबसे बड़ा देश बन के आगे निकल गया है, जबकि अमेरिका में 240 मिलियन उपयोगकर्ता है।
फेसबुक प्लेटफ़ॉर्म की देश की रैंकिंग के शीर्ष पर होने वाले परिवर्तन के कुछ ही दिनों बाद फेसबुक ने घोषणा की है कि दुनिया भर में दो अरब से अधिक उपयोगकर्ता हर महीने फेसबुक से जुड़ते है।
आंकड़े बताते हैं कि भारत में सक्रिय उपयोगकर्ता अमेरिका की तुलना में दोगुने तेजी से बढ़ रहे है।
SBI to cut NEFT, RTGS charges from tomorrow.
A day after it waived charges on Immediate Payment System (IMPS) transactions of up to Rs 1,000, State Bank of India (SBI) on Thursday lowered transaction charges on transfers made through the National Electronic Funds Transfer (NEFT) and Real Time Gross Settlement (RTGS) channels.
NEFT transactions of up to Rs 10,000 will now attract a charge of Rs 1, transactions between Rs 1,001 and Rs 1 lakh will be charged at Rs 2, those between Rs 1 lakh and Rs 2 lakh will be charged Rs 3, while transactions involving higher amounts will be charged Rs 5. Earlier, these charges were Rs 2, Rs 4, Rs 12 and Rs 20, respectively.
RTGS transactions of between Rs 2 lakh and Rs 5 lakh will now be charged Rs 5, as against Rs 20 earlier, and those involving higher amounts will be charged Rs 10, down from Rs 40 earlier. The new charges, which are exclusive of the Goods and Services Tax (GST), will come into effect on Saturday. They will be applicable only to transfers made through the internet or mobile banking.
एसबीआई कल से एनईएफटी, आरटीजीएस शुल्क में कटौती करेगा।
भारतीय स्टेट बैंक (एसबीआई) ने गुरुवार को 1,000 रुपये तक के तत्काल भुगतान प्रणाली (आईएमपीएस) लेनदेन पर शुल्क माफ करने के एक दिन पश्चात राष्ट्रीय इलेक्ट्रॉनिक फंड्स ट्रांसफर (एनईएफटी) और रीयल टाइम ग्रॉस सेटलमेंट आरटीजीएस) चैनल के भी अतिरिक्त शुल्क को कम करने का निर्णय लिया है|
10,000 रुपये तक का एनईएफटी लेनदेन अब 1 रुपये का प्रभार ले आएगा, 1,001 रुपये से 1 लाख रुपये के बीच लेनदेन पर 2 रुपये का शुल्क लिया जाएगा, जो 1 लाख रुपये से 2 लाख रुपये के बीच होंगे, 3 रुपये का शुल्क लिया जाएगा, जबकि उच्च लेनदेन इससे पहले, इन पहलुओं में क्रमशः 2, 4, 12 और 20 रुपये का भुगतान किया जाता था।
2 लाख से 5 लाख रुपये के आरटीजीएस लेनदेन के लिए अब 20 रुपये के मुकाबले 5 रुपये का शुल्क लिया जाएगा, और इससे उच्च राशी पर 10 रूपए लिया जायेगा जो पहले 40 रूपए था| गुड्स एंड सर्विसेज टैक्स (जीएसटी) से अनन्य नए शुल्कों का प्रभाव शनिवार को लागू होगा। वे केवल इंटरनेट या मोबाइल बैंकिंग के माध्यम से किए गए स्थानांतरण के लिए लागू होंगे।
