Finally it came to stop with Mains exam getting over. Again the filtering process will allow the cream to go to the next phase and many more will return disappointed. Whatever be the result, but it would have been an EXPERIENCE that may have taught you a lot. Now coming straight to the point, let us discuss each and every aspect of SBI PO Mains 2017.

If we talk about the over-all difficulty level of the examination, then we can say that it was really a Difficult and Out of The Box paper. In fact students were not able to define what were the questions asked. And the most surprising factor we have seen in the exam was Different Weightage for Different Question. This is a new strategy adopted by recruiters to urge the students to attempt more number of difficult question. Let us look at the individual sections below:

General/Economy/Banking Awareness - 40 Questions 


At least SBI did not experiment with this and kept it simple. The questions were quite General, Conventional and Current Affairs again dominated the section. With lesser number of Static Question, this time SBI again emphasised on Economy Questions. Banking Awareness questions were also asked.

This section was of 50 marks with a time limit of 30 minutes.

Letter Writing (150 words)

a) Write a letter to your branch manager as you've deposited some amount but it is still not credited into your account
b) Write a letter to editor expressing your concern over impact of irrelevant news through socia media
c) Write a letter to your sibling giving them advise related to stress and anxiety.

Essay Writing  (150 words)
a) Write an essay on the positive and negative impact of technology.
b) Write an essay on effect of social media and its consequences on our population.
