1. India and South Korea signed an agreement to firm up bilateral cooperation in defence shipbuilding. Under the MoU, the two sides will nominate one shipyard each for this purpose.

10. Senior National Conference (NC) leader and former speaker of Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly, Ali Mohammad Naik, passed away. He was 87.
नेशनल कांफ्रेंस के वरिष्ठ नेता एवं जम्मू-कश्मीर विधानसभा के पूर्व अध्यक्ष अली मोहम्मद नाइक का निधन हो गया। वह 87 वर्ष के थे।
