दक्षिण चीन सागर में तैरते परमाणु संयंत्र बनाएगा चीन
चीन ने कहा है कि दक्षिण चीन सागर में वह प्राथमिकता के आधार पर तैरते परमाणु संयंत्र विकसित करेगा। उसकी यह कवायद विवादित समुद्रीय क्षेत्र में मौजूद द्वीपों पर बिजली आपूर्ति बढ़ाने के लिए है।
समुद्री गैस के इस्तेमाल को बढ़ावा देने और समुद्रीय परियोजनाओं को स्थायी उर्जा उपलब्ध करवाने की खातिर आगामी पांच वर्षों में चीन तैरते परमाणु प्लेटफॉर्म के विकास को प्राथमिकता देगा।
China plans to build floating nuclear plants in South China Sea
China has said it will develop floating nuclear power plants on a priority basis in the South China Sea as it seeks to beef up electricity supply to the islands in the disputed maritime region.
China will prioritise the development of a floating nuclear power platform in the coming five years, in an effort to provide stable power to offshore projects and promote ocean gas exploitation.
