1. Government has initiated the process to frame Monetary Policy Committee (MPC). The government has amended the Reserve Bank of India Act, 1934 to form this committee. Out of the six members of the MPC, three will be from the RBI, including the Governor, who will be the ex-officio chairperson and this committee will have three non- RBI members.
सरकार ने मौद्रिक नीति समिति गठित करने की प्रक्रिया शुरू की। सरकार ने रिजर्व बैंक अधिनियम 1934 में वित्त विधेयक 2016 के जरिये संशोधन कर यह समिति बनाने का प्रावधान किया है। छह सदस्यीय इस समिति के रिजर्व बैंक गवर्नर पदेन अध्यक्ष होंगे और इस समिति में तीन आरबीआई और तीन गैर-आरबीआई सदस्य होंगे।
2. A government-appointed panel Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) have approved the appointment of N S Vishwanathan as Deputy Governor of RBI.

3. The North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) appointed Rose Gottemoeller as deputy head of the US-led alliance. She will be the first woman to hold this post.
उत्तर अटलांटिक संधि संगठन (नाटो) ने अमेरिकी राजनयिक रोज गोट्टेमोएलर को अमेरिकी नीत गठबंधन बल के उप-प्रमुख के पद पर नियुक्त किया है। रोज इस पद को संभालने वाली पहली महिला प्रमुख होंगी।
4. Sujoy Bose has been appointed as the CEO of National Investment and Infrastructure Fund (NIIF) Ltd. Bose at present is director at Infrastructure and Natural Resources, International Finance Corporation (IFC).
सुजॉय बोस को नेशनल इन्वेस्टमेंट एंड इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर फण्ड (एनआईआईएफ) का सीईओ नियुक्त किया गया। वर्तमान में बोस बुनियादी ढांचा और प्राकृतिक संसाधन, अंतरराष्ट्रीय वित्त निगम (आईएफसी) के निदेशक है।
5. Vice President Hamid Ansari released a book 'Half-Lion' written on late Prime Minister Narasimha Rao. The book has been written by Vinay Sitapati.

6. Seeking to upgrade its catering operations, Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) signed an agreement with the Defence Food Research Laboratory (DFRL) for transfer of technology in food and beverage processing and packaging.

10. Nestle has named Ulf Mark Schneider as its new chief executive officer. Schneider will replace Paul Bulcke.
नेस्ले ने उल्फ मार्क श्नाइडर को अपना नया सीईओ घोषित किया। श्नाइडर पॉल बल्क का स्थान लेंगे।
