1. Asian Development Bank (ADB) and the US Agency for International Development (USAID) will assist India in developing the clean energy infrastructure by collaborating on design and development of public private partnership (PPP) investment models for solar parks. ADB and the USAID signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on this.
एशियन डेवलपमेंट बैंक और यूएस एजेंसी फॉर इंटरनेशनल डेवलपमेंट क्लीन एनर्जी इन्फ्रास्ट्रक्चर डेवलप करने में भारत की मदद करेंगे। ये एजेंसियां सोलर पार्क डेवलप करने के लिए पीपीपी इन्वेस्टमेंट मॉडल के डिजाइन और डेवलपमेंट में सहयोग देंगी। इनकी मदद से सोलर पार्क लगेंगे और पावर के ग्रिड इन्टीग्रेशन में इनोवेशन आएगा। एशियन डेवलपमेंट बैंक (एडीबी) और यूएस स्टेट्स एजेंसी फॉर इंटरनेशनल डेवलपमेंट (यूएसएआईडी) ने सोमवार को इससे जुड़े एमओयू पर साइन किया।

4. The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) is all set to script history by launching a record number of 22 satellites on board PSLV C34 in May this year. As many as 18 satellites are being launched for foreign agencies including those from the U.S., Canada, Germany, and Indonesia. Two of the nano-satellites have been developed by the Pune Engineering College and Sathyabhama University.
अंतरिक्ष शोध के इतिहास में इसरो अब एक और बुलंदी को छूने को बेताब है। पीएसएलवी सी34 रॉकेट के जरिए इस साल मई में श्रीहरिकोटा के सतीश धवन अंतरिक्ष केंद्र से 22 उपग्रहों को उनकी कक्षा में पहुंचाने की तैयारी चल रही है। 18 सेटेलाइट विदेशी हैं, जिसमें अमेरिका, कनाडा, जर्मनी और इंडोनेशिया के सेटेलाइट्स शामिल हैं। दो नैनो सेटेलाइट्स पुणे इंजीनियरिंग कॉलेज और सत्यभामा विश्वविद्यालय ने बनाए हैं।
5. Reliance Defence, a part of the Anil Ambani-led group said that it is forming a joint venture in India with Rafael of Israel for air-to-air missiles, air defence systems and large aerostats, with a seed capital of over Rs.1,300 crore.
अनिल अंबानी की कंपनी रिलायंस डिफेंस ने कहा कि वह इजरायल की कंपनी राफेल के साथ मिलकर 1,300 करोड़ रुपये की बीज पूंजी के साथ देश में एक संयुक्त उपक्रम कंपनी स्थापित करेगी। यह कंपनी हवा-से-हवा में मार करने वाली मिसाइल, हवाई रक्षा प्रणाली और बड़े एयरोस्टेट के क्षेत्र में कारोबार करेगी।
6. The Women & Child Development Minister, Smt Maneka Sanjay Gandhi launched the project of construction of a special Home for one thousand widows at Vrindavan, Mathura. The Foundation stone has been laid by the WCD Minister under the ‘Swadhar Greh Scheme’ of the WCD Ministry. This is the largest ever Home for widows established or funded by the Government.
